THE HORNS ARE HERE TO STAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hooray, amid speculation that the horns were going to be taken off the helmet, Zygi Wilf announced earlier that the horns will stay.
Although it was only rumor from the start, the thought of losing the horns caused enough alarm in people to sign a KEEP THE HORNS petition. Although the horns may never have been heading for the cutting floor, the silence from the front office left us all in limbo. With great efforts from VikingsBoard.net and other Vikings fans that got the word out, the petition garnered more than 1150 signatures in one week based solely off of message boards.
We appreciate Wilfs response to keep the horns, and easing some of our fears. Without the work of VB.net and other Vikings fans, Wilf may not have addressed the issue.
