Here are a few concept designs for the new Vikings Uniforms. Please note that these are only concepts made by fans, and not the real thing.

I realy like the sides of the pants on the top concept - obviously trying to look like the scabbard of a sword. That would be sweet. Aside from the helmet (keep the horns!) I like the last concept too. I would like to see an all purple uniform.
they better leave the horns on the helmets
i like aspects of all of them, i really dont like the helmet on the last one (vikes need hornes)and i dont like the stripes on the helmet either, and the numbers on the one above the last one, you cant have 2 teams in the NFL wearing purple AND have the same number styling. I also hope they dont look like the falcons or cardinals,originality is key, peace
Think the sword look is totally cool. Can't have the Vikings running around without their horns and I think all of the stripping on the helmets looks femmy. All purple is really neat.
First concept looks great. And is there a hint on Matt Birk's right leg showing the pants design?
i think the only thing they should do to the horns is add some detail, like shadows under the bottom or something, do anything u can because they cant change them for five years, so if we dont like them, we're stuck w/ them for at least that long, who knows, could be another 46 years. peace
i think there was a hint on the pants too, that coulda deminished the all purple uniforms, oh well. peace
I have heard reports that there may be an alternate uniform for home that is all purple. JUST RUMORS THOUGH.
The hint on Birks pant leg in the first photo is a leak, so I am confident in the idea the pants will be pretty cool this year.
Some of the concepts have been eliminated already, it was confirmed that the horns will stay, but be slightly updated. I assume that means shading to give effect. Hell, Birk probably leaked that one in an interview a few monthes ago.
Overall, I think the changes will usher in a new era of vikings look while still remaining loyal to the tradition. It seems like a tough thing to do, but after seeing the pant leg, look for a ton of "logo pride." I honestly think the new uniforms may bring more purple pride to the fans.

Do they think that changing there uniform will help them win a super bowl? Or better yet a Division Championship...taht hasnt happened in a while. Keep wishing Viking fans your day will come if you move to teh European League.

didn't the vikes beat the packers twice last year, and knock them out of the playoffs the year before?

i think the all purple uniforms are the perfect ones to wear at home and the away uniforms should be the white jersey's with purple pants.
